Trip
During our week in Peru, we will minister in community centers and orphanages in Lima and Cusco, doing Vacation Bible Schools, games and sports, teaching and sharing our faith. Each team member will get the tangible opportunity to see and feel what life is like in these poor areas and participate in sharing God’s hope and love for all people. This trip includes a free-day excursion to the ancient Incan city of Machu Picchu.

Who: This trip welcomes all Middle and High Schoolers. About The Lost Children of Peru: The Lost Children of Peru (LCOP) was founded in 2010 by Larry Goode after he spent several months at a time in Peru working with government-run orphanages and seeing the dire need of the children and their lack of even the most basic needs. The Lost Children of Peru is committed to seeing the lives of Peruvian young people changed. The Lost Children of Peru community centers are the centerpiece of the ministry and provide a safe environment where young people can find hope by having basic needs met, experience God’s love, and have Peruvian role models come alongside to equip them for their future. Mature teens that engage with the community centers grow in leadership and invest back into their communities in a cycle of hope and restoration.
