JFC LITTLE ONES
BIRTH TO PRE-K
VISION“A start for little hearts, as they walk with the flock. To know beyond measure, they are God’s treasure.”
CLASSROOMSAt each of our campus locations, you will find nursery rooms for infants through pre-K with staff and volunteers who have a heart for children and have also completed a background check. Each of our campus locations has a nursing mother’s room, for the little ones who aren't quite ready for a nursery.
WE WANT EVERY CHILD TO KNOW:God loves me.
God made me.
Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Each service includes age appropriate curriculum based activities and/or crafts, interactive worship with fun songs, dancing and musical instruments, creative Bible stories told through live teachers and/or media, small group time for the older kids with prayer and offering, and of course a snack time! The food items consist of water, goldfish, club or graham crackers. Please make us aware of any food allergies or dietary restrictions your child may have.
BABY DEDICATIONSAt JFC, we believe all children are a gift from God. Our Baby Dedication service gives parents an opportunity to not only thank God for the precious gift of their child, but it also gives them the platform to publicly declare their intentions to raise their child in a God-centered home. This is a milestone that parents can return to time and time again. It is a family dedication, where blessings are spoken, where parents commit themselves to abide by biblical principles and to raise their children according to God's standards. We feel it is important to involve friends and family in this process as well. We welcome the support they bring, and ask them to be a part of the child's dedication. Please contact Denisha at firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about dates or to sign up.
CHECK-INWe have a check-in system through Elexio where each child receives their own name tag with any allergies listed, as well as a randomly selected number each weekend. Parents also receive a tag with the same number, so they know what number to look for on the display units in the sanctuary if they are needed at all during service. You’ll also need that tag to pick up your little ones, whom are much more valuable than luggage!
SAYING GOOD-BYEAfter you have completed the check-in process, simply wave a quick good-bye and be blessed in service as you experience His presence! Your child will have many fun opportunities to learn and play in the classroom, and we want this to be a fun, peaceful experience for everyone. If your child struggles with separation anxiety, our volunteers will do all they can to calm the child, love on them, and reassure them that you will return. If your child continues to cry or struggle for an extended period of time, we will display their number and try again next time!
POTTY TRAININGIf your child is potty training, please communicate that to the classroom greeter and provide a labeled bag with a pull-up and change of clothes! We do have a “potty timer”, and our Lone Tree Campus has toddler sized toilets in the bathrooms inside the classrooms.
