JFC SINGLES

GETTING CONNECTED

Grip - An adult singles group.
GRIP stands for Great Relationships In Progress. The purpose of our group is to create a community where singles (late 20's to late 40's) serve other singles. We hang out, have dinners and discussions, plan awesome retreats, have plenty of social outings, and participate in service projects to help those in need. For more information contact Dave Donley at 303-960-3986 or ddonley31@aol.com, or see our website at meetup.com/South-Denver-Singles.

Holiday Outreach
Location: Castle Rock
October 16, 2014 2:30 pm - November 15, 2014 10:30 am

November 15th at 9AM
We will be partnering with Fresh Harvest Food Bank in Lone Tree to put together "wellness packs” for underprivileged Douglas County Students.  These are normally given to kids by school counselors as needed but our goal is to provide several hundred packs that students can have over Thanksgiving break since they won’t be in school to receive them.

INFORMATION

We will be meeting at Castle Rock Campus on Saturday, November 15th at 9 AM and will assemble packets until 11 AM.  Then we will deliver them to the Food Bank on Monday November 17th so schools can have them for a few days before the break.  They will also include a handwritten note from us wishing the kids a Happy Thanksgiving and we will pray over the packets as well.
This will be a family-friendly activity where kids of all ages (almost) can participate and whole families can come out and serve together. We believe it’s going to be a great time!
Please stop by the Connect Grow Serve table this weekend to sign up! or, for more information, please contact Janet Cesmat at janet@jfc.org
